About Me

About Me

I live on the East Coast of England (UK), in a small, friendly village with my family and menagerie of pets.

In my twenties, I frequently made clay pet sculptures for friends and tourists to the Suffolk coast, generally as a hobby to exercise my creative talents. I have always had a fascination with animals, especially dogs and like to make my sculptures with character.

Several years later, with arthritis forcing me to retire from my longtime occupation as a gardener, I began making 1:12 scale miniature animals for dollhouse enthusiasts and miniature collectors.

In 2015, I was proudly awarded Artisan status by The International Guild of Miniature Artisans in America. This involved me sending 5 pieces of my work to The Guild, to be inspected and judged by the committee. I now make all types of 1:12 scale animals and my aim is to create them with individual character, personality and expression to bring a smile to the beholder.

I handcraft 2 to 3 miniatures per week. I have found this keeps my work fresh and original, and creates a happy balance between family life and my passion for creating miniatures.

I currently sell my creations on eBay via auction.

My little mini-pets are proudly displayed in homes all over the world and my work has been featured in Dolls House Magazine UKMiniature Collector and American Miniaturist magazines.

Much of my previous work can be viewed in the gallery or feel free to take a look at my facebook page.
